Thank you to everyone who supported me during the 2024 special election to fill a vacant seat on the Town Council. That election allowed me to serve the remainder of that term, which ends in 2025.
To continue serving our town, I will be running in the 2025 election for a full 4-year term. I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve and look forward to earning your support once again.
When I took office in November 2024, Broadway was already in a period of significant transition. The previous Chief of Police was no longer with the town and one of the first major responsibilities our council faced was the interviewing and hiring process for a new chief. We took that duty seriously, selecting someone who would bring leadership, integrity and a strong commitment to public safety.
Shortly after, our Town Manager resigned, creating another important vacancy. Once again, the council worked diligently to conduct a thorough interview process, and we ultimately hired a new town manager to guide our staff and operations.
These leadership changes meant a time of adjustment, not just for the council but for the entire town.
Despite these challenges, I’ve stayed focused on responsible governance. I’ve advocated for a fair and balanced budget, always keeping in mind that we are spending taxpayers’ dollars. Every decision I make is rooted in fiscal responsibility and long-term sustainability.
Transparency and communication are core to how I serve. I’ve provided weekly town updates via social media, responded to resident concerns and remained open and available to those who have questions about town issues. Your input matters and I’ve listened.
As a member of the Planning Commission, I’ve taken resident feedback seriously and used it to inform my decisions – always aiming to consider the best interests of the entire town.
It’s been an eventful first year and I’m proud of the progress made. I’m running for re-election this November because I want to continue the work and serve the residents and town of Broadway.
Thank you for your trust and support.
