I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to all who trusted me and believed in me enough to cast your vote in my favor. Your support means the world to me. I understand that there are residents who did not vote for me, and I hope, over the course of the next year, to earn your trust and confidence. My goal is to serve all of you with integrity and dedication.
I also want to take a moment to express my gratitude to those who helped me along the way. Please know that I am deeply grateful for your guidance, your time, and your support.
To the other candidates who ran in this election, thank you. It takes a great deal of courage to step forward and run for office, and I respect each and every one of you for having done so. The commitment to serving our community is something we should all recognize and celebrate.
I’m grateful for the campaign work, although difficult and demanding at times, it gave me the opportunity to get out there, meet with residents and listen to their concerns and ideas.
In those conversations, a few clear priorities emerged, ones that I believe reflect the values and hopes of many of our neighbors. First and foremost, residents want transparency and accountability from the council.
They want to hear directly, in clear and straightforward terms, where we stand financially – both short term and long term. They want to see the entirety of council working together, collaboratively and in unison for the good of the town and residents.
I am your liaison to this council and I will work hard to ensure your concerns, opinions, thoughts are heard and acknowledged.
